hi team, we have 4 of the a1/ a1x/ a10 on camera flashes and all of them have broken because of the plastic plate that holds it on to the hot shoe. competitors have all switched to the metal. we have to pay $150 way too often to repair it (on top of the 3x price), so this change would be welcome. thanks in advance.
Please implement a paid subscription for pro members in order to get faster repair turnaround. When we send gear to Canon USA we get it back in about a week. Having our profoto equipment tied up with profoto service for 1 month or more is just not acceptable for our organization. We are always happy with the quality of the repair work but the time it takes is not up to par.
