In small spaces, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve poked my face (and almost eye) moving around the XL umbrella. Wish there was a feature to unscrew and remove the long exposed stem while in use.
Quite a few times I used two B10 with one deep white umbrella with diffusor for video, i.e. continuous light, in my case to avoid ventilation to start, reducing the light output of the B10s to about 50%. I would love an umbrella tripod stand with connectors for two B10/B10X.
Can these be designed with a replaceable center shaft? I know I've bought at least three large deep umbrellas! It's a shame to retire the whole thing because the rod isn't replaceable.
I love deep umbrellas but they are very fragile and after one fall, i destroyed Deep Silver S. There is no way to repair broken central stick and now i have to boy new one for full price. I think profoto should prepare replacing program for 30% price of new one.
I think it is a great idea to make grids for deep umbrellas. I love deep silver umbrellas but i would like to make a light more focused. Mounting system for grids on clic softboxes will fit perfect!
